MiRegistro is a platform that connects event organizers with attendees. When you purchase tickets through our Platform, you are purchasing from the event organizer, not from MiRegistro. Each event organizer sets their own refund policy, which will be displayed on the event page before you complete your purchase.
2. Event Organizer Refund Policies
Refund eligibility is determined by the individual event organizer. Before purchasing tickets, please review the event's specific refund policy. Common policies include:
- Full refund available until a specified date
- Partial refund with cancellation fee
- No refunds (all sales final)
- Ticket transfer allowed in lieu of refund
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact the event organizer directly using the contact information provided on your confirmation email or the event page
- Provide your order number and reason for the refund request
- The event organizer will review your request based on their refund policy
4. Event Cancellation
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, attendees are typically entitled to a full refund. The event organizer is responsible for processing refunds for cancelled events. MiRegistro will assist in facilitating refunds when events are cancelled.
5. Event Changes
If an event is rescheduled or the venue changes, the organizer's refund policy will determine whether refunds are available. Significant changes to event details may qualify for a refund even if the organizer's standard policy does not allow refunds.
6. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by the event organizer:
- Credit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days
- The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used
7. Service Fees
Service fees charged by MiRegistro may or may not be refundable depending on the circumstances of the refund. In cases of event cancellation by the organizer, service fees will typically be refunded. For other refund requests, the refundability of service fees is at the discretion of the event organizer.
8. Disputes
If you have a dispute with an event organizer regarding a refund, please contact MiRegistro support. While refund decisions are ultimately made by event organizers, we can help facilitate communication and ensure our platform policies are followed.
9. Platform Subscription Refunds (For Event Organizers)
Event organizers using our platform services may request refunds for subscription fees within 30 days of purchase if they have not yet created any events. After events have been created or the 30-day period has passed, subscription fees are non-refundable.
